Only 74 cases produced! Happy to release our first 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from 50 year old plus vines at Rancho Arroyo Perdido in Santa Ynez. We have been working with Cabernet Sauvignon since the first vintage in 2008, but it was all going into the Habit Red Bordeaux Blend.
In 2018, i wanted to make a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Very happy with the results. Picked and sorted by hand, with both hand punchdowns and pumpovers in open-top fermenters. Then aged in 100% Neutral French oak, on the lees for 14 months, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
This wine is easy drinking with soft tannins, upfront cherry, blackberry and bramble. Great value at $32, and we hope to make more each year!

This year’s Rosé is a blend of two of our favorite Grenache vineyards, Demetria and Vogelzang. Picked and sorted by hand, fermented and aged in stainless steel, on the lees, up until bottling.
Beautiful pale salmon color, bright, fresh, with great acidity. Because of some frost in the vineyard during flowering, we were only able to make 200 cases of Rosé this past year.
Handcrafted in the traditions of the world's finest Rosés, this wine calls for early summer picnics, chilled seafood, charcuterie, mild cheeses and sushi.

Chamise Shaley Loam. Biodynamically & Organically Farmed.
Bright fruit, Rasberry, Strawberry, with hints of earth and spice. Fresh and bright. Picked and sorted by hand, Foot stomped, then a three day cold soak.
20% whole cluster, fermented in open top fermenters, punched down by hand 2 times daily, then pressed and aged in neutral french oak on the lees for 6 months. Racked once just before bottling.

Certified CCOF Organic. 80% whole cluster fermentation with 20% crush, fermented in a tall steel open top fermenter,foot stomped, free run gravity fed daily, then gravity fed back over the top for a very long slow fermentation over three weeks.
Aged in a large Puncheon on the lees until bottling. This wine is a stunner! Bright fruit, earth and spice.

Soil is a mixture of loam and clay loam, red and yellow chert, and serpentine. Located at the eastern-most point of Santa Ynez, this AVA is 15 degrees warmer during the day and cool at night from the ocean breezes coming over the mountains, allowing this unique microclimate to beautifully ripen these bordeaux varietals.
Kaffir lime, lemon, bright citrus with lovely floral notes and flowering thyme. Crisp acidity, hints of tropical fruit and tangerine oil with a spectacular, long, clean finish.
A great pairing with grilled fish and stone fruit salad. 100% stainless steel. Aged on the lees. Fresh, vibrant, lots of acidity. Lower in alcohol. Super Food Friendly.

Sandy Loam, Low nutrient soil. Planted in 1982, Own Rooted.
Fermented in barrel and stainless steel, then aged on the lees in 100% neutral French oak barrels. and stainless steel. Classic old-world style Chenin with white flowers, white peach, nutmeg and wet stone. Loads of minerality, green papaya, meyer lemon, lean stone fruit and racy acidity.
Insane pairing with oysters and roast chicken. Fermented in both stainless steel and neutral barrel. Aged on the lees. Fresh, vibrant, lots of acidity. Lower in alcohol. Super Food Friendly.

Loam and clay loam soils. Planted in 1972 as Cabernet Sauvignon. Grafted over to Gruner in 2008, Own Rooted. This wine is driven by minerality with wonderful acidity. A beautiful greenish hue. Jasmine, juniper, white pepper and lime. Medium body and very well focused. Amazing with grilled sausages, charcuterie, pickled vegetables, asparagus and sautéed pea shoots.
Grüner Veltliner is known as the most food-friendly wine varietal in the world. 100% stainless steel. Aged on the lees. Fresh, vibrant, lots of acidity. Lower in alcohol. Super Food Friendly.
